Tummy Time Graduates

We have a lot of friends that are graduating from Tummy Time and moving into the 3-5 year old Preschool Storytime sessions. Preschool Storytimes are held weekly on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. You are ALL welcome to join our BOOKS ARE GREAT (BAG) programs on the 3rd Thursdays of each month. Join us for an hour of fun as we highlight a different theme each month. Participants will listen to stories, sing songs, try crafts, tabletop explorations and more! No registration is required. Held in cooperation with the Family Museum.

I want to thank our Tummy Time graduates and their families for participating in this program. It’s been wonderful getting to know all of you and watching you grow over our time together!

Kids Experience

Join us for Kids’ Experience on Saturday, August 21 from 9:30-3:00 for laughs, crafts, and lots family fun! This program has something for all ages but the following activities are geared more for youngest friends:
* BUBBLES and the PETTING ZOO on the lawn outside the library all day.
* LITTLE HANDS SITE provided by Girl Scout Troop 8856 will be in the Youth Services Department all day.
* STORYTELLING with Chris Turnipseed at 9:30, 10:15, 11:00, 11:45, 12:30, 1:15, and 2:00 in the 1st floor lounge.
* A FREE lunch will be offered upstairs from 11-12:30 p.m.
Kids’ Experience is sponsored by Quad City Bank and Trust and the Bettendorf Public Library Foundation.  Check out the sessions offered for other ages on the Bettendorf Public Library website!

Tummy Time Starts Again!

Fall into a good book at Tummy Time starting again this September! Our first session will be Wednesday, September 8 at 6:30 p.m. The first Monday session is on September 13 at 10:00 a.m. We look forward to seeing our old friends and meeting new ones! This program is geared for parents/caregivers of babies and toddlers. Hope to see you soon!
