To Renew Your Materials by Telephone:
1. Bring
the library card that your library materials were checked out
on and the materials you wish to renew to the telephone.
2. Dial
QL-Renew at 1- 888-542-7259
3. After
QL-Renew answers, follow the simple steps the recording gives
you to renew your materials, entering the information as requested.
4. QL-Renew
will give you the new due date for your materials, which we
suggest you write on your checkout receipt or due date slip.
Troubleshooting
Tips for Using QL-Renew
- If you
have any items that you wish to renew that have a barcode
that starts with the letter "T", when you are prompted
to type in the item barcode you must substitute the characters
*81 for the "T", and then continue by typing the
rest of the numbers of the barcode.
- Some
materials will not be available for renewal. QL-Renew will
tell you if it cannot renew an item. These items will keep
their original due date.
- Materials
may be renewed only once.
- QL-Renew
is not able to renew materials if your library account is
delinquent or needs to be updated.
- To avoid
overdue fines, remember to always call to renew the items
before they are due at the library.
- Be certain
to use the same patron barcode that was originally used to
check out the materials, or QL-Renew will not allow you to
renew materials.
- There
will be pauses in the phone renewal process. Your transaction
is not complete until you are given a new due date OR advised
that your renewal transaction cannot be completed.
