Downloadable Media

Download and watch movies and videos!

MyLibraryDV Downloadable Video

Note: When downloaded, the basic version of MyLibraryDV will be installed. After it opens, close it and then reopen it. It will indicate that there are upgrades to install. Install these upgrades. Once the upgrades are installed, there will be more movies and other videos available. Depending on your connection speed, it could take several minutes to an hour for all the available movies and other programs to be listed and available. Each time you open MyLibraryDV, it should check to see if their are any upgrades and additional programming.

MyLibraryDV is a unique video-on-demand service that gives you access to hundreds of hours of DVD-quality programming such as cooking, travel, health programs, classic movies and more! This service requires that you are a Bettendorf Public Library cardholder. You will be asked to type in your Bettendorf Library card number to access the videos.

Welcome to the WILBOR Audio Book Consortium!

WILBOR Downloadable Audiobooks

Download great audio book titles day or night--your library never sleeps! Listen to them on your computer or transfer them to a compatible device. WILBOR includes over 1150 titles, including children's and teen titles, for you to enjoy. Go to http://wilbor.lib.overdrive.com and log in with your Bettendorf library barcode to install the OverDrive Media Console and Windows Media Player on your pc - a quick, free download. (Note: Windows Operating System 98 SE or later is required.) The first time you open OverDrive Media Console or download an audiobook, you will be prompted to complete a one-time security upgrade for Windows Media Player. This enables playback of copy-protected Windows Media files. Then browse the collection or search for specific titles, add them to your cart and download them. Once downloaded to a PC, audiobooks can be enjoyed on your computer or transferred to a Pocket PC, PDA, Smartphone, or supported MP3 player. Many titles can be burned to CD.

Download and listen to eAudiobooks!

Download eAudiobooks

eAudiobooks are digital versions of audiobooks that are available through the Internet. Titles were acquired through a joint purchase for libraries in the Prairie Area Library System. Patrons go to the netLibrary link on our website, click the eAudiobooks Center and search for downloadable eAudiobooks from Recorded Books. Titles include the latest best sellers, book club favorites, award winning authors, and more. Patrons download the titles (in MP3 format) to their computer and then can transfer them to their portable listening devices. For more information on using eAudiobooks click on this link to the Quick Start Guide. Please note, you must sign up for you free netLibrary account in the library on one of the library's computers. You will be asked to pick a user name and password. Ask a librarian for assistance if needed.
